All About Chickens Humor by Marina

I posted these on Facebook on March 5 and March 6: About Chickens by Marina:

Chickens have a bully personality. One of the bunch always bullies, and the weakest one gets bullied to death by all of them.
So yes, we need eggs, and sadly, chickens are bullies, just like our current government.

Chickens attract all kinds of wildlife s.a. wolves, weasels & worst of all snakes & rats from all that food on the ground. Yuck.

I have seen a neighbor's chicken that was bullied by the bunch & I yelled at the bully chickens. It didn't help. True story.

A bullied chicken loses all its feathers as it is being picked on until death. It is as if Hitchcock's bird movie became true.

My neighbors no longer have chickens. One neighbor's chickens got killed by wildlife, the others by dogs.

So sad that chickens can't be kind to each other and share their food politely. This means majority chickens are greedy & selfish.

We don't live in the country, we live in the city limits, but we have almost as much chicken killing wildlife as in the country.

I knew a neighbor a long time ago when I lived elsewhere in the city limits who had to pay a $500 fee for having chickens.

TN doesn't allow chickens in the city limits. A fee of $500 plus will be given to perpetrators.

Maybe chickens aren't allowed in city limits because of how chickens & their food attract rats & wildlife.

So yes, if you want more wildlife in your yard, such as rats, skunks, snakes, etc. then go ahead and get some chickens.
