Why I Got Started Making  Paper Jets
My grandson, who is 3, got me into building these paper jets. I thought he could be doing something else but only be on the phone watching videos and or his new discovery, online games. I did see a meme that said, "When I was 3 I used to eat mud but today's 3-year-olds have mastered the smartphones. It is a scary thought that 3-year-olds know more about smartphones than we do at age 30 and up. 

Folding paper jets is a fun activity and they fly very well if you do it right. Instructions are in the video below.

Distractions affect Parenting Negatively

😭 I read a very sad true story on People magazine on Facebook concerning the dangers in parenting. I won't mention names but you can look up the names if you want to know them. An influencer who had many followers on a social platform online had a terrible tragedy happen to her and her family. The influencer had several children and one of them is a 22 month old toddler. One day the toddler decided to roam around as little toddler boys usually do. He had a cup with a suction holder on his cup. He spotted a large mirror and he attached his suction cup to this mirror. The family had a dog and this dog had an accident where this large mirror was usually located. In order to remove the pet stain the family had moved the large mirror to be able to clean the stain successfully and the temporary location of the moved mirror was where the toddler attached his suction cup. Homemade Salsa Recipe

Ingredients for the Homemade Salsa 1 tomatillo 3 jalapeno peppers 3 serrano peppers (not needed if you have enough jalapeno peppers) garlic (depends on how much you want of this) 1/2 onion 1 small can of diced tomato and peppers (or you can use fresh tomato diced) Add some salt, pepper, and spices that you would like to add You can add some parsley and or cilantro Preparation of the Salsa Cut the vegetables small and cook lightly. Cool off a little bit. After cooking put 3/4 of the mix into a blender and blend. Mix in the other 1/4 with the salsa to give it a little body. At this point add 2 teaspoons of lemon or lime juice and mix it in Cool the salsa and put it into a glass jar to store in the refrigerator. Finished You can make this recipe with how many hot peppers you like to have in it. The more you add the more spicy it will be. Also, the less tomato you use the lighter the salsa will be.
