Factory Farms are all about Profit Not the Humane Treatment of Animals It seems that factory farms exist because these farms make the price of meat more affordable. But if people ate less meat then we wouldn't need such atrocities such as factory farms. And who wants to eat the meat of an animal that has lived under such abuse anyway? I don't know but it is happening now and it is happening every day and I hope and pray for it to stop. God gave us animals to eat their flesh but He didn't give them to us to torture them before their death for profits of any kind. Cruel Cages Often at factory farms, the chickens are in a huge caged area where they do not have any room to move around. They stay in this environment until they are fat enough to be slaughtered.
